Stanislav Sidorov was born and educated in Russia Born in an artist's family,

Stanislav was trained in traditions of Russian Realistic painting of the nineteenth century.

During his art university days, while visiting the museums of Leningrad and Moscow, Stanislav was deeply impressed by the French Impressionist, by Gustav Klimt and by Russian artist, Mikhail Vrubel.

Twentieth century Russian artists who have influenced his work are Falk, Konchalovsky, and Lentulov. Stanislav admires their color and expressivity.
