After receiving an M.A. in Fine Arts from the Khabarovsk Fine Art & Graphic University, I fell in love with the mystery and magic of the ancient technique of painting on silk, inherited by us from China, India and Indonesia; the technique which gave us the beautiful art of batik with its intricacies and challenges.

All my feelings, dreams and thoughts I transform into paintings. Even during the darkest periods of my life when I feal betrayed and abandoned by everything and everyone, I still have my paint brush, a piece of silk fabric and my paints. A few strokes - and the world changes around me. Perhaps I can say that the joy of creative work is the true source of my happiness. My work has been exhibited in galleries and art museums throughout the world, and my silk wall hangings are being purchased extensively for public and private collections.
